Grow in God's Word: This is the foundation because Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. By reading the Bible, you learn about God's characteristics, your identity in Christ, and what has happened and what you can do in Christ.

Put on the Armor of God: Found in Ephesians 6:10-20, the armor includes the shield of faith, sword of the spirit, helmet of salvation, belt of truth, shoes of peace, and breastplate of righteousness. It protects against Satan and unseen evil forces in the spiritual realms. It's recommended to put it on daily before your feet touch the floor.

Learn to Pray: Prayer is not just making requests known but a daily, one-on-one communication line with God, fostering intimacy, communion, and worship.

Fasting: Fasting and praying go hand-in-hand. It involves denying the flesh and feeding the spirit, starting with short fasts and gradually increasing the duration.

Grow in your Relationship with Christ: Develop a solid, intimate relationship with Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father, as this will be crucial during testing's and trials.

Get Planted in a Spirit-Filled Church - Discipleship: It's vital to be under the right spiritual covering. Look for churches that teach the word of God, show good fruit, offer discipleship, and provide both correction and encouragement.

Testify: Sharing your testimony brings glory to God, builds others' faith, and helps you remember what God has delivered you from, thus keeping you free. Revelation 12:11 states that "they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony."
